First, we have to start with the love story!
Jackson and I met in August of 2012 through a mutual friend at BYU. While both of our apartments became great friends and were practically inseparable, it wasn't until November that Jackson and I began to feel it was time to branch off and get to know each other even better.
We fell in love quickly and easily due to our already strong friendship. In February we decided that there was no way we could ever be apart, and so on March 9th, Jackson proposed and I said YES! After a night of shopping at City Creek Center, walking around the Salt Lake Temple, and overhearing a lady's "very unromantic" proposal story, Jackson got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. How could I turn down such a sweet guy?
On June 22, 2013 we were married in the Boise, Idaho Temple. I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day. The weather was perfect and sunny and I was uncontrollably happy. I love being with my wonderful man each and every day, and I'm excited for the many years of happiness to come. I'm grateful for the chance to spend eternity with my best friend.
Anyways, enough of the mushy stuff...
Jackson is an Economics major, minoring in Japanese. He works at the MTC in the referral center and deals with a lot of the social media for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is a big Phoenix Suns fan, loves playing games (especially Mario Kart), and is an amazing cook. He knows just how to make me laugh (although he'll argue that it's not that hard) and is a great listener. So basically, you can't have a better friend than him!
I'm majoring in Elementary Education. I start going into the school pretty soon, and while I still have a lot to learn, I can't wait to teach! I work at BYU's Testing Center, and also as a Teacher's Assistant for one of my Professors. I have now also become a Phoenix Suns fan, love to play games, Pin on Pinterest, and bake goodies :)
